I'm sure similar topics will be discussed in the machine learning class. I didn't register for machine learning, but I've messed around with some of the iPython documents on the Web. If anyone's interested, there's a free Coursera course taught by Andrew Ng from Stanford on Machine Learning that just began. www.coursera.org/learn/machine-learning. The deadline to register is tomorrow.
